I just upgraded our build box from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (x64) and light.exe stopped working when run from Windows Service. It raises "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed". It still works with the same parameters if I run it interactively, but not from the service.
I tried
I tried
Running service under different accounts (local admin, domain, local system)
Registering/unregistering msiexec
Changing service imagePath to SystemWow64 (from system32)
Result is always the same: works interactively but fails under windows service.
Any suggestions?
